Burton Croft Surgery normal opening hours
Monday - Thursday: 7.45am - 6.30pm
Friday - 7.45am - 6.00pm
We are also open on Saturday mornings for non-emergencies
Urgent problems during opening hours
A doctor and nurse practitioner are available by telephone to assess (triage) urgent problems. We will always fit you in if you need to be seen.
Burton Croft offers a triage service from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, so that we can identify your health needs and offer appropriate and timely appointments and advice.
We can offer health advice and support in relation to self-limiting illness such as common colds, fresher's flu, sore throats and earache over the phone.
For more severe illness we have access to urgent appointments including on the same day.
Urgent problems out of hours - New NHS 111
If surgery is closed and you require urgent medical attention, please call 1-1-1. (Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles) and you will be put through to the out of hours provider.
NHS 111
NHS 111 is the new three-digit telephone service that's being introduced to improve access to NHS urgent care services. Patients can use this number when they need medical help or advice and it's not urgent enough to call 999. NHS 111 operates 24/7, 365 days per year and is free to use from a landline and a mobile.
