Qualifications BSc (Hons) Sports Science in relation to Medicine, MBChB (Hons), MRCGP - Male

Dr Grice qualified from the University of Leeds in 2012, completing his academic foundation training at Queen Elizabeth and City Hospital Birmingham (2014) in association with the University of Birmingham, and the Leeds Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Specialty Training Programme in 2017, his final GP post was at Burton Croft Surgery. He has worked at the surgery as a Salaried GP since 2017. His clinical interests include lifestyle medicine, particularly physical activity. In addition to his role at Burton Croft Surgery, Dr Grice has a post as a NIHR (National Institute of Health Research) In-Practice Clinical Academic Fellow at the Academic Unit of Primary Care, University of Leeds. His main research focus is examining the role of brief interventions for increasing physical activity in at-risk patient groups. Outside of medicine he is a keen triathlete having previously competed in athletics internationally. He lives with his partner who is also a GP in the north Leeds area.
