Vickie Taylor

HCA, NVQ Level 3 Registered smoking Advisor - Female

Vickie works as a Healthcare Assistant, seeing patients for health checks, wound care and blood tests. She also assists with minor operation procedures. Vickie also sees housebound patients. She is a Registered Smoking Advisor and can provide comprehensive advice and support for any of our patients wishing to stop smoking

Emma Walker

- Female

Emma is an experienced practice nurse and is qualified to see patients with long-term conditions including asthma, COPD, diabetes and coronary heart disease. She is also able to advise patients regarding travel and immunisations, lifestyle advice, cervical screening as well as general nursing duties.

Julie Hartis

- Female

Julie has been a practice nurse for over 10 years. She sees patients for respiratory disease management, childhood immunisations,travel health advice,cervical screening, wound care & general nursing duties.

Jacqui Cryer

RGN - Female

Jacqui has over 20 years experience in practice nursing treating patients for a wide variety of health needs and long term health conditions. Jacqui also provides travel health advice and travel immunisations. Alongside this, Jacqui is also able to do cervical screenings and child Immunisations. Jacqui has a special interest in diabetes with a particular focus on education. She also has an interest in complex wound care and venous ulcers.

As our Practice Matron Liz Davies is responsible for care home patients and our frail, elderly patients.

Nurse Leanne works alongside Liz to provide exceptional care for our care home residents and our frail, elderly patients

Dr Maxwell

MBChB, MRCGP - Female

Qualified from Manchester Medical school in 2012 before moving to Leeds. Dr Maxwell joined the practice in 2018 as a GP trainee and stayed on to become a salaried GP. She has a PG Certificate in medical education and is now a GP trainer.

Dr Nelson

MBChB (Hons), BSc (Hons) Maternal and Fetal Physiology (Kings College London), DRCOG, MRCGP - Female

Qualified from Leeds University in 2008. Dr Nelson joined the practice initially as a trainee GP in 2015 and is now a part-time salaried GP. She has a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology but enjoys working in all areas of general practice. She is married with 3 young children.

Dr Smith

PhD Molecular Biology, BSc (Hons) Biochemistry, MBChB (Leeds), MRCGP, PGCert Palliative Care, PGCert Primary Care Education. - Male

He trained as a GP in North Yorkshire. His interests are Palliative Care and musculoskeletal medicine. With Dr Maxwell he is a GP trainer and runs the education of doctors and nurses within the practice. In his spare time he is slightly obsessed with skiing, runs and plays Tennis. With a young family his specialist interests are rapidly becoming Lego and Bob the builder.

Dr Peckham

MB BS, DFFP, DCH - Female

Trained in London and did her GP training in Margate, Kent. She was a child health doctor in London and Mansfield as well as a GP partner in practices in Nottingham and Oxford She moved to Leeds in 1998 when her husband was appointed as a Consultant Chest Physician at St James’s Hospital. She has three children. She enjoys all aspects of General practice, with special interest’s including Child health , Pregnancy care and women’s health including the menopause.

Dr Gibson

MBchB, DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP, DiPTher. - Female

Senior Partner, Dr Gregory Qualified from Leeds University in 1992. She did most of her GP training in the Airedale area of Yorkshire. She joined Burton croft surgery as a part time partner in 1998. Her special interest is women’s health and contraception. She regularly fits coils at the surgery. Dr Gregory is also very interested in the area of medicines and prescribing and has a postgraduate diploma in this. She is married to a paediatrician and has twin daughters. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog and skiing.
